A review of James Graham's play QUIZ. https://www.theguardian.com/.../quiz-review-rory-bremner... I accepted an invite to its Press Night on September 29th in Chichester at the start of a nationwide tour, due to my having co-authored the book upon which the play is based: Bad Show https://www.amazon...

Re: Keith Spooner
Why on earth was that "off topic"?
An earlier post on this thread mentioned Paddy Spooner as Keith´s son so mine was in "Reply" to that.
Had the English Chess Forum a "Reply" mechanism then, naturally, I would have used that!

Re: David W Anderton
Officer Moon told me he arrested Eley by knocking on his door. Eley then said he was too busy and tried to close it. Officer Moon had to explain that he was not asking for his co-operation; he was arresting him. Moon later told me there were MORE than seventy affadavits. He also, in view of the numbe...

Sad news. Any insight as to the cause of death?

Re: David W Anderton
I told Anderton in no uncertain terms about Eley long before over 70 affadavits were sworn against him. He seemed not too bothered. I then said "I think your concerns might increase if it was your 10 year old son he was buggering." David Anderton, OBE, then looked at me in silence with a curious smi...

Re: Pawn Sacrifice - the film
Liev Schreiber, who played Spassky, also looks quite a bit like him, too! I agree with Nick re the fabulously interesting 13th game. And see my comment re Kavalek at the Obituaries thread re regretting sooooooo much not having quizzed him about working with Fischer on the adjourned position. :D Apro...
