Just thought people might want to know that Staverton is fully booked. If anyone has spare rooms there please let me know. :-(

We (3Cs) did the same for the whole year at every venue we are playing at, back in July (7 singles and 4 twins), we got our allocation

It will a great shame if their team of players are not playing
I don't know why P&P dropped out, but I'd hazard a guess that the cost of hiring all the GMs to play in it was massive, and their captain could no longer afford it. This is fair enough. A case of veni vidi vici.

Don't feel sorry for their GMs. They'll end up at other teams with money!

We will only need to rebook for the Sunningdale/Latimer weekend, for the first weekend we will still be staying at the Barcelo (we have a minibus booked so somebody can easily transport us across)

Obviously though we may have to book a extra couple of rooms each weekend

Having browsed the 4NCL website, I see that Oxford 1 have been reinstated in Division 1, prssumably due to the withdrawal of P&P. It's an ill wind ...

Where do you see that? I see lots of 2010/11 pages that haven't been updated. Where is all the new stuff?

Team lists 2011/12
19.09.2011 - We're keeping a running list of the teams who have entered and/or paid fees for next season here. You'll also see information on which teams have registered players as and when the details come in.

Lo and behold, when you click here...

Thanks. Where is the bit about P&P withdrawing? Is that presumed from the absence?

I see Betsson.com are now called Blackthorne Russia. Anyone know which Blackthorne this company is?

Oh, presumably this:

http://www.blackthornetransport.co.uk/

"Blackthorne International Transport specialises in delivering all types of cargo to Russia - by air, by sea and by road."

Wonder if they will be returning Russian GMs in empty cargo containers?

Actually, what I meant to ask was whether they were there previously and were then removed from the page. I can't tell, because this is the first time I've looked at that page.

They were previously there without ticks in any of the boxes.
