Steady as you go, guys, as you head off to Hinckley & Daventry. A 4NCL weekend can be a dangerous place. You think you're going for a couple of games of chess and a few pints. Think on!
Remember what happened last weekend. A quiet and pleasant time in Buxton, and before you know it, a few days later the roof falls in. Whooda thunk it. Out of a clear sky, and all that - although, in truth, the local breeze was making the rain fall horizontally.
So my advice: be careful, very careful, who you talk to; look out for guys furtively whispering. If someone approaches you, asking "have you heard....?", give them the latest footie score and move on.
Tread carefully; keep your eyes wide; avoid strangers. And go to bed early.
That way we may yet survive

Q. What are the thirty-nine steps, Mike?
A. The number of steps you might fall down on your way to the wine cellar, Dave.
And, listen up guys, you might be there for longer than a weekend - it's not called "Island" for no reason, you know, so pack a wetsuit if poss. There is a restaurant nearby - 'Barnacles', so named because it was once on the waterfront. Don't want to hear of nobodies found floating around. You have been warned!!
