Four Northern teams in a scoregroup of size 6. There's only so much you can do.

Surbiton 2 & Witney have both dropped out. Bad news for those who have already played them and will now suffer tie-break wise if in contention for promotion or the top 16 southern places.

Well done to NE1 on winning the combined Div 3 and good luck next season in Div 2

Hard luck Cheddleton 2 on missing promotion on tiebreak

Congratulations to SoA1 on promotion to Div 1 a clear demonstration of their team spirit and vindication of those that have backed 4NCL North over the last few years

With 3C's up too and even WR2 seemingly sneaking in, its approaching a full scale Northern invasion of Div 1 :)

Amused to see MM'2' staying a good match and a half ahead of MM1. DCA A at least managed to sneak ahead of DCA B.

No surprise that Jorvik struggled a little this weekend. The York/Yorkshire leagues were done about a month back so with Spring having started nearly everyone was on holiday from chess one way or another....
