I believe they were done on the basis of the previous season's finishing order, thus the two top seeds were the relegated teams from division 2.
Declared squad: Supposition.

Previous season's finishing order: Fact.
I would add that the captains were also given the opportunity to object, I seem to recall.
That's correct: "Any captain who feels that the composition of this season's squad will make the allocated seeding inappropriate should contact myself and David Welch not later than next Sunday (25 Oct)." (Dave Thomas 19/10/15)

Hind sight is a good thing.

None of the systems are bullet proof therefore we have to make the best out of a bad ish situation!!!

Congratulations on your team results this weekend!

I see what I can do from Abu Dhabi.
I need to ensure I save the life of a rich sheikhess and then all is sorted!!!!!

10 wins and one draw - west was most definitely best, in fact I dont think anybody is going to be breaking that record any time soon.
Lose one queen and it is a disaster, Lose 1000 queens and it is just a statistic.

Record was set before in Div 3 so you equalled it. Still, a good effort. Good luck in Div 2. It is tough up there!

Oh, Guildford did it eh? I thought it might have been pride and predjuduce, but they are both professional sides. Ours might been been a better performance as we had less titled players.

Don't be a stranger to div 2 Paul, you can come and visit us when you get promoted next season
