The Championships in the Open Section was the most keenly contested for possibly 50 or 60 years. The Tucker Trophy was tied for by three players, Ameet Ghasi, Tom Sygnowski, and Richard Weaver, each with 4 pts out of 5.

Lawrence, sorry your are right, it should be Richard Weaving. I don't often post on the Board, and the fact that you cannot post HTML files (for security reasons) and more surprisingly plain text files, had me focusing on the mechanics of the process of posting, as well as getting quite cross in the process.
I must find out from Carl why BB software won't accept txt files.

Thanks to everyone involved in the organisation, it was a thoroughly enjoyable event. You weren't quite full then. I thought you might be over subscribed and wasn't sure I'd get in. I'll try and enter earlier next time to make sure.
