Preston Chess Congress
The results of Preston Chess congress can be found here:
http://chess.popmalc.org.uk/node/354
155 took part. 130 were ECF silver members.
The prices were higher than last year, due to the cost of the venue, but numbers were up.

There was a sainsbury's carrier bag containing a grey addidas hoody top with red trim and 2 blank score sheets folded up small left behind near the open/major, if anyone has lost it (the top that is - presumably they didn't want the blank score sheets)

Thanks for pointing that out. 0.4 for a draw might be interesting though ...Reg Clucas wrote:Interesting scoring system in the Open - 3.4/5
