Congratulations on running this - I had been hoping to play but sadly had to work 
At least our current club champion looks to have had a successful day finishing on 4/6
What happened to the highest rated player IM Madan - I notice on the cross table that he didn't play his last game or is this an oversight on the webpage?

Madan withdrew just before round 6 as he couldn't win any prizes and had a train to catch, which was a shame as it left an odd number of players in the last round.
I look forward to meeting you at the next event (probably Saturday 17th July 2010). Our sponsors Winton Capital have agreed to fund us over two years, so the event should offer the same prize money and playing conditions as this year.
