Plenty of norms at stake in the last round:

Wadsworth Matthew J v Moreby James

Wins needed for GM and IM norms respectively.

Olson Hamish v Fischer Daniel (Draw needed for black)
Stoyanov Viktor v Wall Gavin (Win needed for white)
Large Peter G v Dong Bao Nghia (Draw needed for black)
Large Peter G v Dong Bao Nghia was a draw.

That is great news that one of the norms has been achieved.

Fischer seems to be doing OK for the draw needed.
Stoyanov seems to have a slight edge.
Wadsworth-Moreby is finely balanced.

U16 Manchester lad, Edward Jackson definitely deserves a mention. He's emerged from the Covid years as a dangerous player, and with the British Championships and the Northumbria Masters has gained something like 230 FIDE points. In fact he was leading the Masters with 4/4, including wins against Charlie Storey and Alexander Cherniaev. Finishing his campaign with a round 9 win over Thomas Villiers. Performance rating of 2342!

Excellent coaching at 3Cs of course

His ECF rating is currently higher than his FIDE rating
