Due to the weather we are stuck here for a few more days! Unfortunately Tito has taken all the chess sets away so we can't even have another chess event...
Blindfold blitz anyone?

For those stranded in Jersey

Seems you are entitlled by this EU judgement to a "welfare package" which includes meals and accomodation. Some players had this paid for them directly. I met two Dutch players at the airport who had got their accomodation paid by BA, including an overnight stay in London on Wednesday for their return flight. So it seems optimistic for BA to shell out for you. Airlines might claim an exemption for the Severe weather, but seems you are still entitled. There are letter templates available, plus keep hold of all your receipts and send photocopies if required.
