Adams-Navara looks like a draw with opposite coloured Bishops.

Richard Rapport playing a Kings Gambit against Michael Adams today. Risky !?

Scary position after move 21...Re8. Even though White's king has no pawn cover left, the computer engines only give Black a small edge, presumably as there are some tactics that favour White somewhere.

Something big landing on g7 for starters Looks exceedingly scary for both sides. Sacrificing g2 in the opening really was a bit of an amazing idea, maybe it had some predecessors.

26...Re2+ wasn't the best move. Seems it will end in perpetual now.

Yes. Rapport has played well, maybe that sort of opening suits his style.

Normally I like to watch the games on the tournament website, but really not a fan of the game viewer they're using for this one. Unless I'm missing a trick its really quite awkward to play through the game from the beginning to where they are up to.

ChessBomb is the best website for playing the games through, also computer assessments and comments (!) Michael Adams game looks difficult (move 24) at the moment.

Looks like Mickey missed 19...Qh5 when playing 17.Nxe5 (the obvious alternative of 19...Bxe3+ slightly favours White). That is the only thing I can think of there for what happened. Is that likely, that Mickey would miss something like that?

Re: Biel International July 2015
A priori I dunno. Given the fairly confident conclusion that he didn't mean to reach the current position (which might be survivable I suppose), you'd imagine it has to be likely
