Very unusual situation in the Seniors. There is currently an 8-way tie for first on 1.5 out of 2, and then the players equal ninth are on 0.5 out of 2. Nobody is on 1!

Er, it looks to me like a 6-way tie on 1.5/2, with 2 players on 1/2 and 5 players on 0.5/2 and 1 player on zero points.
In the Open section, has Clement Sreeves really started with 4/4 including beating Cherniaev twice? If this is a double-round all-play-all, are the games against the same opponent being played on the same day (morning then afternoon)? That's an interesting way to schedule the games.

No, those two players were on 1/1. Their result hadn't yet gone up.Christopher Kreuzer wrote:Er, it looks to me like a 6-way tie on 1.5/2, with 2 players on 1/2 and 5 players on 0.5/2 and 1 player on zero points.
It makes a lot of sense: you don't have to sit around waiting for your afternoon opponent's game to finish, because you know it already has.In the Open section, has Clement Sreeves really started with 4/4 including beating Cherniaev twice? Am I right in thinking that a GM norm isn't possible for Yang-Fan?
