That's a shame, I really like Chessbomb.
If you want a picture of the future, imagine a QR code stamped on a human face — forever.

Isn't that a 2018 announcement?

It is, but if you now go to https://www.chessbomb.com it redirects to https://www.chess.com/events. It wasn't doing that a couple of days ago.

That's not good.
"Do you play chess?"
"Yes, but I prefer a game with a better chance of cheating."

I've had a wee look at how they present the games and followed a live game from
the Georgian Chess Championship 2022. It looks OK, just getting used to it may take a game or two.
I like the fact you can switch off the computer evals. I like to play along without getting hints.

Of course they may up the anti (pay up to watch) world championship games or the candidates.
I think we should give it a try and see how it pans out...no choice, chessbomb has gone.

There is a thread on Reddit at https://www.reddit.com/r/chess/comments ... _chesscom/.

It is now apparent that Chess.com bought Chessbomb with a view to closing it down in due course. RIP Chessbomb.

A bit off topic, but as an (increasingly infrequent) Skype user, I await a similar fait for Skype at the hands of their owner, Microsoft.

Seemingly https://nxt.chessbomb.com/ gives a website very similar to the old look and feel, complete with a sea of red !

How do you view recently finished events on the clone site? I wanted to play through the last few rounds of the Tata Steel Masters, using the Chessbomb interface.
