British Championship 2010 Prizes

Post by David Hamblin » Thu Jul 29, 2010 8:49 pm

Hi

Following a rather disappointing chess business failure 2 years ago i am left with 9 sets of brand new House of Staunton quality plastic chess sets with a mixture of high quality folding boards and normal vinyl type boards.

I live local to Canterbury and can pop them along on Saturday afternoon if any organizer wants them for free.

They would make great junior grading /best game or even spot prizes.

They used to retail at £40 the set and are brand new so they are not rubbish.

Also i have two SAC wooden "novelty" type sets which again are brand new and would make handy extra prizes.

If someone can leave a message on here as to who to contact (assuming they are wanted) i will pop them along Saturday afternoon.

Many thanks

andrew martin

I will happily take them from you and find a good home for them among schools or strong young players who do not have the means to purchase what they would like chess-wise.

Thanks, Andrew
