Adam Hunt (at the British)
...is doing very well against very strong opposition (6 GMs, 2 IMs so far)
anyone know how many points he needs for a GM norm?

Zero more, that is. If you could get GM norms for scoring zero...

Does Adam have any other GM norms?
Hopefully if he becomes a GM it will encourage his sister to start playing more again. Their mother once told me that it was having a younger chess-playing brother snapping at her heals that pushed Harriet into becoming such a strong player herself.

I've beaten Adam twice. Harriet, no.

I suppose playing someone with such high grading helps in the norm hunt! Is this is first norm?

According to the FIDE site, the only English player who currently has a GM norm is Thomas Rendle:

That can't be right, can it?

Jon,
I think that list is what FIDE know about, I think Andrew Ledger has at least 1 Norm and also Richard Pert has acheived a norm as well

Did he get a norm for that?

Re: Adam Hunt (at the British)
I don't think so, I think that it is approximately a 2560 performance and he cannot remove his weakest wins either

So why is that not a GM norm? Also Hartston must have a GM norm, amongst many others.

Re: Adam Hunt (at the British)
A GM norm has to be a performance over 2600 (IM Norms are over 2450)
