To Drink or not to Drink, that is the question.

I Drink therefore I am.

I'm not as think as you drunk I am.

The one he started in 1969 and finished when he became President and FIDE rep :D
The Press do get things so wrong, I've been "the England Coach", "British Champion", "England Head Coach", "England Manager". The press have just taken titles and twisted them into language they understand. I hate it but sometimes its funny, I remember the local Chess Press Officer Mike Clarke being called Mike Chess by mistake, he got so much stick it was amazing.

I did have it corrected! Could not have folk thinking I had got above my station in life!
I have a lovely friend who has an MBE (for services in the community, she is one one my board advisors) who every time she is in the local rag gets called a "Lady Helen" blah, she complains but gets nowhere. Gerry may not be a "Chess Champion" but out with sponsors he is a Champion of Chess, but I could say the same for many people. We do all do well at telling a strong chess story of great times and wonderful events. Just the press don't let the facts get in the way of a good story, bless them. Long may they reign.

Well, they'd better not give me any stick, since I'll be Superintendent according to people, and people are always right...
