I hate it when that happens. Still, it always works both ways. The amount of times I could have played my opponents side of the board for them to beat me and been let off with a draw, or sometimes even a win, compensates for those times when I do the same thing they do...Gavin Strachan wrote:How about losing won positions - i have achieved several "blunder norms".

Personally I take no notice of prize funds whatsoever, on the grounds that I'm extremely unlikely to win any prizes....

But my opponents do it all the time by playing better moves than me. Why are they never defaulted?
