Do you not see that:-
  • the actual result does not make bad arbiting any better
  • players other than an opponent can be affected by an active mobile phone

I wasn't commenting about the incident. I was commenting about the scope for ECF action in response to it.

Since the point has been raised, I would add that I happen to know that the organiser in question does have CRB clearance.
