I unfortunately witness many adjourned games in various leagues.
Does anyone have a feel for the rough percentage that are
Drawn
Have a decisive result
and from these two what percentage are concluded without resumption?
Result outcomes of adjourned games?

In my personal games, 100% have been completed without resumption.John Upham wrote:and from these two what percentage are concluded without resumption?

Re: Result outcomes of adjourned games?
My club was technically at home in an 8 board match against a team which contained a number of disabled players. D'nA (Disabled and Able-bodied) played all their matches at home. At the end of the session only three games were finished. The opposition were insisting that the other five games had to be played on. I pointed out to my captain that none of the opposition were disabled and we technically were the home team so any adjournments should be played in Paisley (our venue) rather that Glasgow. My captain conveyed this information to the opposition. The results of 4 games were then agreed before we left and the 5th game was agreed the following day. We won the match by a reasonable margin. From memory we won 3 and drew 2 but it may have been 2-2-1 of the adjourned games. The change in the opposition attitude when they discovered they had to travel was considerable.

I could provide these statistics for my own games, but first you will have to tell me how I should count games that were adjourned more than once, with a result agreed without resuming after the final adjournment. (I've had several games that were adjourned twice and one that was adjourned 4 times - which got a mention in BCM that I couldn't disagree with more).John Upham wrote:Does anyone have a feel for the rough percentage that are
