Re: Q vs 2R
That was my first port of call but I can't get them to post to the US or even to my address in England. Alibris has a copy for $63 -- exorbitant but not unexpected. Meanwhile the US public library system has two copies all told -- one in Cleveland, Ohio and the other in New York City. So I have requested an inter-library loan.Niall Doran wrote:Auch bei amazon.de erhältich:

There is a way:Arshad Ali wrote:I can't get them to post to the US or even to my address in England.
* buy a house in Germany
* get Amazon to send it there
* get someone to post it to the US
* sell the house in Germany
With a bit of luck, you may even cover the purchase price and postage.
I should have been a management consultant. Can't you tell?

Re: Q vs 2R
My daughter was very impressed with a doll she got for her birthday on Sunday, as all the packaging and instructions were in Japanese
It had been ordered from Amazon, but the person ordering didn't realise where it was coming from until getting to the online checkout where the postage was £25 (more than the doll), by which time they decided it was too late
A friend of their daughter then pointed out it was for sale at their local Tesco

Re: Q vs 2R
Got hold of a copy (Germany -> Britain -> USA). My very own, my precious. One would think regular endgame books would have more coverage of Q vs. 2Rs (it occurs frequently in my blitz games).
