CCF in the press

A press story from last year may be recalled

There's been silence ever since.

Does that imply either that the matter was dropped, or that it wasn't and there's a trial with reporting restrictions?

The grading list infers he hasn't played any rated chess for well over a year.

I've been spanked over the chess board many a time. Usually by a very good player, though!

According to my sources he was again bailed until some time later this month, October.

I won't be making any further posts on the matter.

Curious about the CDD movement, and whether it actually exists. Do they have a nationwide headquarters ?

Further to this, this case has now appeared at Croydon Crown Court with a plea & directions hearing fixed for February 2015 followed by a full trial, if necessary, in early September 2015.

A trial will take place with a jury if the accused pleads not guilty.
