Chess World Championship Scam

Post by Joey Stewart » Fri Oct 17, 2014 3:09 pm

Hi Guys

Just wanted to warn you about a (quite elaborate) scam email I have received a couple of times advertising a "mind sports" world championship in London. Since I have never heard of such a thing, and the message was sent to a website I manage rather then me personally, I assumed it must be false and wanted to let all the rest of you know so you can warn your club members against it.
Lose one queen and it is a disaster, Lose 1000 queens and it is just a statistic.

It's not a world championship, at least not for chess, but there are a series of chess events in London being organised or promoted by Adam Raoof in cooperation with an organisation terming itself MSI or Mind Sports International.
