I can confirm that we are no longer top after tonights results.

But the good news is we have games in hand.

Who are "we"? What is going on?
Lose one queen and it is a disaster, Lose 1000 queens and it is just a statistic.

"We" is Brewood!

Brewood were top before last night (as no team had played and therefore we (Brewood) were top on alphabetical order!) However due to the fact that Brewood didn't play last night and other teams did, it now means that Brewood have been knocked off the top, but have games in hand. Hope that explains it!

The reason for the post is simply because I am looking forward to playing in the league.

A great evening for me personally and for Brewood.

Played 2 matches, won 1 and drew 1. Brewood won all matches on the night.

In the game I won I blundered a bishop very early on in the game. I do not think I have ever played a more impressive game (from a piece down) to recover and win a match. Sadly notation of the game does not exist.
