Not bad. 12 places above ChessCafe.com and 24 places above "the other place".
Ah, but I was so much older then. I'm younger than that now.

Isn't it the ECF website as opposed to their forum?Brian Towers wrote:Not bad. 12 places above ChessCafe.com and 24 places above "the other place".

It would help if sites could be catagorized. Sites that offer game play are more likely to be more popular than forums. As far as forums go, I think we should be proud of ourselves. ecforum is a great site.

It would be interesting to see if Chesscafe.com has dropped much since they took all their stuff off-line. Is that possible, Steven?
Also it's nice to see that the French Federation site is so highly placed (n°35), as it's a huge resource for chess-players and organisers here in France. Tournament annoucements, results, cross tables, club matches and tables, results archive going back to 2000 etc. I'm playing in Clermont-Ferrand at the moment and the organisers put all the info on the tournament up there, and I can see the pairings for the next round ahead of time.

Chapeau, FFE!
The ranking for the ECF does seem to be the website, and not the forum.

Yes, i would have thought the ranking of "the other place" would be considerably lowerLawrenceCooper wrote:Isn't it the ECF website as opposed to their forum?Brian Towers wrote:Not bad. 12 places above ChessCafe.com and 24 places above "the other place".

I've done my bit by adding a link to the forum in my free Windows Phone Chess Links appCarl Hibbard wrote:A few links back to here from people happy to advertise their stuff would be welcome!
