Firmer with whom Martin? The Congress dates might shuffle by a week here and there but generally remain fairly static. The 4NCL dates move around more and this season we have a split weekend (and Easter obviously changes year on year). I could announce the Yorkshire League dates well in advance but Mike isn't going to schedule the 4NCL around Yorkshire and nobody would reasonably expect him to - so we're back to the same problem with the 4NCL players protesting.

I'm not sure whether this forum is the most appropriate place to say this but obviously you and I corresponded when there was a possibility a club might have a reasonable case for requesting a postponement against York. As I said then, if an agreement can't be reached then all I can do is refer the matter to the wider committee.
