You may also find that teaching chess in schools can be counter-productive if it is part of a structured syllabus if children are not there by choice. After school clubs where children come by choice tend to work much better.

Hi Jonathan, yes I was thinking of 2200 Elo and up. I've noticed that some titled players do not have the patience to go back to the basics and teach the very low level stuff. I've met one or two who refuse point blank to do it.

Yet my friend was Asian youth champion, but did not know that the square h1 must be light-colored until I myself told him
