The Knight. Most interesting chess piece

Post by Kevin O'Rourke » Thu Nov 26, 2015 2:23 pm

I have decided as a general strategy that I must keep a knight till well into the game. All to often I have lost my knights and thus never again do I get to move a piece in that sexy little L shape.

Losing bishops and rooks is different because a Queen can also move in that way – once your knights are gone you have lost forever a manuvor that is unique.

(not into under promoting before some smarty mentions it! )
