Re1 not so bad though. I though White really started to drift with 13 Rc1, unless Kevin had a plan in mind I'm missing.
I tend to agree with Roger. It might be better to play more classically, since such positions do require some knowledge of the plans.
I'm not sure what I would have played instead of b3. I'd have been feeling pretty desperate.

Personally, I think that one should stay away from the Reti unless you know rather well what you're doing. What has happened to you in this game is a good example of what can happen if you play an opening you're not familiar with; you got a dodgy position rather quickly without finding any of the usual plans, because you're unfamiliar with the type of position that arose.
A more sensible opening to play, if you're seriously worried about your king like that, is the King's Indian Attack.
