Hi Ljubica,

If you get any takers, please let the Director of Junior Chess Peter Purland and the Manager of Coaching know if this is an ECF-related exercise. I presume these articles would be voluntarily submitted ? Would you like to take over the Right Move yourself?

I will zip all the back issues into one, upload to the ECF Coaching server and then publish the URL later today.

Caution : it will be a very large download!

Could not Right Moves have been self-financing through income from advertising? Would not the readership - or the readerships' parents - have money to spend on coaching and chess products - and therefore provide a good market for advertisers?

I've zipped all the issues from March 2007 until August 2010 into one Zip archive and uploaded it to the ECF Coaching server :

Go to http://www.ecfcoaching.org.uk/, select "The Right Move" and click the download link.

The file is of around 32 MB in size.

Thanks; a very valuable service John.

We are going to try to keep the magazine going on a possible subscription basis, allowing advertising etc and details will be available in the upcoming edition.

I have received a lot of support and encouragement to continue on this basis; we will see.

That is very useful. Do similar archives exist for ChessMoves?

The issues back as far as March/April 2009 can be downloaded from a password protected part of the ECF website (start by clicking the ChessMoves link on the panel on the left hand side of the homepage). If you are a Direct Member you can request a password from the webmaster.

The September 2010 edition of The Right Move may now be downloaded for free without the need for a password from

http://www.ecfcoaching.org.uk/

Enjoy!

Let us hope it is not the last edition.
