ECF membership numbers

Post by Robert Stokes » Wed Oct 01, 2014 4:50 pm

I've had a grading reference number for several years. For the last two years I've had a membership number as well. Are they both still necessary? What different purpose do they serve?

You are still allowed to play chess without being a member. Equally there is no compulsion to play chess even if you are a member.

Numer is Polish for number, and every Pole has a PESEL no.

I thought a numer was something one received in the playground somewhat akin to a "dead leg".
