To be clear: it wasn't a Board proposal. It was a proposal from Alex, using his position as Home Director of Chess. What concerns me, Brian, is that you and Alex were officers of a membership organisation and you promoted a divisive proposal which, if passed, could have led to organisations disaffiliating and loss of individual membership.
