The results of the Arbiters Seminar have been on the FIDE website for a couple of weeks but I've only just noticed them.

There seems to have been an interesting mix of participants ranging from new starters to some very experienced ECF Arbiters.
Congratulations to everyone who succeeded in gaining the IA norm.
Incidentally, I don't recall the results of the seminar being listed on the ECF website.

Shh! Don't ask, don't tell!Michael Flatt wrote:Incidentally, I don't recall the results of the seminar being listed on the ECF website.
By the way, it is an FA norm, not an IA norm.
Ah, but I was so much older then. I'm younger than that now.

I honestly cannot recall any previous suggestion that they should be.Michael Flatt wrote:Incidentally, I don't recall the results of the seminar being listed on the ECF website.
To the best of my recollection there have been five FIDE Arbiters' Seminars in England so far. I think that it would be a sensible idea to have a page headed "Results of FIDE Arbiters' Seminars", with links to the announcements on the FIDE website. That could then be updated each time a seminar is held.
Comments welcome.

The FIDE Observer gave the lecturers a glowing report.

I would second that, they are a great team and their expertise combined with some timely humour made the course enjoyable other than being in a very cramped and stuffy room which was out of their control.David Sedgwick wrote:What's the problem?
