David,

If you have views on this matter (or any other) you have two concrete courses of action that you can take: one involves little effort but may achieve only limited results; the other involves more effort and only very slightly better results - but hey that's a problem of being one person in a 'democracy' of 10000!

(a) Email or private message (because he's a member of this forum) Angus French, one of your two direct representative Bronze members on Council.

(b) Email or private message (because he's a member of this forum) John Philpott, Company Secretary of the ECF, and tell him that you would like to be the other representative Bronze member (a post that has been vacant since bronze members were first invented). I suspect your chances of this being successful are approximately 99.87% certain. You will then be entitled to attend and vote personally (on behalf of bronze members) at the April Council meeting Mick refers to. Reasonable expenses are paid.

(b) is a serious suggestion: it is a shame that the bronze vacancy exists: maybe you feel you are not a significant cog in the ECF world to do such things. Sadly so do all the other bronze members. Become a cog!
