The only one I could find was a Berks II vs Essex IV (!) match played on the 2nd February, 1980. See "1980-Mar" on this page: https://sccu-chess.com/index.php/en/bulletin-2
A player called Pollard appears on the same page, but it was "A J Pollard" on board 7 for Surrey IV.

Re: Gordon Pollard
T Gordon Pollard was a great encouragement to me and other Maidenhead juniors in the early 1970s by publishing our games in (I thought) a Wallingford paper. He enjoyed some of my (slightly unsound) attacking games. I remember posting games to him addressed to Brightwell-cum-Sotwell.

Re: Gordon Pollard
Neill, the Wallingford Herald would certainly have shared the chess column with the Abingdon Herald. If I remember correctly it was the same paper apart from the cover pages

Re: Gordon Pollard
Gordon Pollard's comments about the Household Chess Magazine (C.N. 1188) have now been added to Edward Winter's article at https://www.chesshistory.com/winter/extra/jottings.html
In addition, https://www.chesshistory.com/winter/extra/notation.html has Pollard's comments in favour of the descriptive notation (C.N. 1090). The early part of this article may seem rather quaint today, having been written mostly in the first half of the 1980s.
C.N. 855 has a brief tribute by Pollard to W.H. Cozens.
