I'm not sure that this data can be entirely correct?Roger Mylward wrote:SHELLEY ALBERT STAMMWITZ who was born in Jan-Mar 1880 in Richmond, Surrey. Shelley born 1880, married 1894. Aged 14?
Frances born 1882, married 1894. Aged 12?
I know that the law, its practises and social attitudes in the Victorian period were markedly different from today, but I find it surprising that two adolescents were married. Perhaps I am wrong, but I would feel happier about the data if it could be confirmed.
