The bigger problem, in my opinion, is when both players submit the same wrong result. If contradictory results are reported, you know there's a problem and can do something about it. If the same wrong result is recorded, you can't really do anything until a confused player wonders why his score is wrong at the start of the following round.Christopher Kreuzer wrote:(What do arbiters do when players submit different results? In the recent Warwickshire Championship, one player recorded a result as 1-0, and the other didn't record a result at all. (Incidentally, this didn't stop that scoresheet from having two signatures on it.) We scored it 1-0, but the game was actually 0-1.
