Allowing the g pawn to run turned the game into a loss, which makes failing to recover it by perhaps Rg1 a mistake as well. Playing g5 in the first place could also have been wrong. Although winning the exchange for a pawn leaves you material ahead, I doubt there's much if any advantage to White.soheil_hooshdaran wrote:What was my mistake in:

I had a huge static advantage.Piy that I let it run in the endgame with R+B vs R+N, Queenside majority, healthier pawn structure, and pawns on 2 wings.

You might want to cross check evaluations with an engine as the position didn't to my eyes say "White is easily winning".soheil_hooshdaran wrote: I had a huge static advantage.Piy that I let it run in the endgame with R+B vs R+N, Queenside majority, healthier pawn structure, and pawns on 2 wings.
Unless there's an improvement in the King and Pawn ending, you shouldn't trade Rooks.

I'm not convinced about playing .. e5. I suspect an expert in the French would want to play .. Rxf3 and .. Nxd4, possibly after .. Bd7.

Some mistake in the game score? As quoted, 28...Rxe5+ wins.

If the score is correct, then Black lost by missing the win of a piece and getting mated instead (by the same piece!). It's at a move number where a time scramble was plausible.Leonard Barden wrote: As quoted, 28...Rxe5+ wins.

I wouldn't have said that Black was obviously devoid of counter chances. The lazy way is to ask for engine assessments every few moves and zoom in where it suggests you missed a quick finish or where the assessment changes from "better for white" to "better for black".soheil_hooshdaran wrote: I was obiously winning bbut it got off my hands....
The ending with the two exchanges versus a queen side pawn majority may well be fine for Black as the White KIng lacks anywhere safe to shelter.

This is pre and post game analysis of course. You are saying you aren't allowed to use a computer for preparation?soheil_hooshdaran wrote:People are not allowed to use engine help before Condidate Master level, and I hve not still reached that level

Yes to computer, no to engine!
I am not a CM-level player
I should not use, although allowed officially
