Re: Stockfish 6 Chess Program Crushed!! - Using The A.R.B Chess System
I would have thought the development scheme of playing in no particular order h6, g6, Bg7, e6, Ne7, d6, Nd7, b6, Bb7, a6, followed by c5 or f5 was known as the Hippopotamus. If you aren't a computer engine, it isn't difficult to play against, as you know where your opponent's pieces are going. In a recent game I established an advantage for white by fianchettoing both Bishops and seizing space. So, again in no particular order, the white structure was b3, Bb2, c4,Nc3,d4, Nf3, g3, Bg2 . The early development of the Bishop in g2 caused Black some difficulties in setting up the b6, Bb7 part of his plan.Anthony.R.Brown wrote:Using The A.R.B Chess System

Hi Roger
The Hippopotamus is an Old! Chess Opening Defence before Strong Chess/Engines/Programs and is Completely Different to The A.R.B Chess System Which is as it's called a System!
Your Quote "If you aren't a computer engine, it isn't difficult to play against" The A.R.B Chess System is Only for Beating the Best (3000)+ ELO
Chess Program/Engines Not! (Humans)
Below Shows how Different they are from the first Moves! (Move Order is Very Important!)
(The Hippopotamus Defence)
The Main (HIPPO) Defence Opening Line...
1. e4 Nh6 2. d4 g6 3. c4 f6
(The A.R.B Chess System)
(10) The Main (A.R.B.C.S) Opening line...
1. e4 e6 2. d4 d6 3. Nf3 h6 4. Nc3 a6 5. Bd3 g6
6. O-O b6 7. Be3 Bg7 8. Qd2 Bb7 9. d5 e5
(The A.R.B Chess System)
No Official Chess Data Base has the
Main (A.R.B.C.S) Opening line!
(The Hippopotamus Defence)
Most Official Chess Data Base's have the
Main (HIPPO) Defence Opening Line.
Below is the Example for Both Playing as (Black) Playing as (White) would be the Same Symmetrical Setup...
but of course uses the (White) End of the Board Cordinates.
(The A.R.B Chess System)
(2) Always Starts with the Two Centre Pawns
E7-E6 then D7-D6 Unless Stopped by White?
Then the Next Pawn in the System is Played.
(The Hippopotamus Defence)
Starts with Other Pawns?
There are No Records of the Hippopotamus
Defence Starting with E7-E6 then D7-D6.
The Video Below Explains more...

There are presumably sequences in which the precise order of a6, b6, d6, e6 , g6 and h6 actually matters, mostly it doesn't unless White had a threat like having a Bishop already on the diagonals where g6 and b6 were to be played.

As I Said!...and it's Something that may be New to you! (Move Order) is the Most important thing! and it's what Separates The A.R.B Chess System from Everything Else!
The Proof is that No! One else has been able to Beat Houdini/Komodo/Stockfish Etc. in the same way that I have!
Play a Random Move Order in a Way like the Hippo and Computers will Crush anyone! The Hippo let's the Computers Dominate! The A.R.B Chess System does the Opposite!
Move Order!! Get the Moves wrong from the Start and your Opponent Dictates the Game! as Computers have shown with Every Strong Chess Play! I have found the Only way to Stop them!
Look at My Example Games below from the Beginning! All are Out of Book at Moves .2 Check any Games Databases and you will find the Same!

Re: Stockfish 6 Chess Program Crushed!! - Using The A.R.B Chess System
A couple of questions.
(i) Have you tried this system against human?
(ii) When you play a computer, do you use another computer to help?
i.e. Are you playing a form of Advanced Chess?

It's only if the computer's book is so poorly programmed that it doesn't detect transpositions, that you catch it in this manner. Once you search a games database by position rather than move sequence, it becomes clear enough that move orders shouldn't matter when they lead to the same position.Anthony.R.Brown wrote:

A very interesting system.
Can we arrange a public demonstration, where you play your system successfully without help against a leading chess engine? How about at this year's British?
You could make a fortune if it comes off.

I don't believe this is bonafide. I wager a bet that I can beat Mr A.R Brown in a realtime game using my engine.
