I think there was one live board here.

This can be reached from the main site here. Click on the live link to the left of the logo at the top (the one on the right didn't seem to work).

There were Wi-Fi problems. The organisers have moved board 1 and that seems to have done the trick!

And today's live game is between the top two seeds, Eric Hansen and Tiger Hillarp-Persson!

There were initial problems with the iPad version as the service provider was not accepting pgn files. The organiser, Fred Hamperl, has now sorted this out, but other events may like to be aware of the issue.

I can now see both versions on my laptop and they are displaying the position on the actual board a few feet away from me.

However, if there should be any further problems, please let us know.

Eric Hansen won again today and now has 5/5. I would not be surprised if he finishes on 7/7.

Hansen has a very interesting style, he seems not to give his opponents a chance, and gradually pushes them off the board. Yesterday he had QB v RR (with some pawns od course), which appeared to be difficult to convert. Within very few moves he had totally tied up white's pieces and something had to drop off. Meanwhile Tiger was having a wild game where anything could happen.

I suspect Hansen will get 7, but it might depend who he plays in round 7. This is the 40th tournament, Plaskett got 7/7 some years ago and Tiviakov emulated that last year.

He is likely to get 7.
Best wishes for Dan, Ian, Harry, Owen, Colin & yourself (Kevin) in your last matches.
