Rapid Time limits: The rate of play, except of tie-breaks, is G-15'+10'' (15 minutes for a game for a player, with an increment of 10 seconds per move). The rate of play in tie-breaks is 5 minutes for white and 4 minutes for black for a game, with an increment of 1 second per move.

Blitz Time limits: The rate of play, except of tie-breaks, is G-3'+2'' (3 minutes for a game for a player, with an increment of 2 seconds per move). The rate of play in tie-breaks is 4 minutes for white and 3 minutes for black for a game, with an increment of 1 second per move.

Rapid entry:

European Rapid Chess Championship medallists 2010, female players with ELO rating at least 2400 and players with ELO rating at least 2600 on the 1st of November 2011 do not need to pay the entry fee, if registered no later than on the 25th of November 2011.
a) players born 1997 or later: 80 PLN or 20 € (includes 1.5 € for the ECU)
b) players born 1991-1996: 100 PLN or 25 € (includes 1.5 € for the ECU)
c) players born 1951 or earlier: 80 PLN or 20 € (includes 3 € for the ECU)
d) other players: 100 PLN or 25 € (includes 3 € for the ECU)

Blitz entry:
