Luke McShane scored 1.5/2 on board 3 for Werder Bremen in his first rated games since the European Individual in March including a win against the Swedish grandmaster Hans Tikkanen. His team won both matches.

Mickey Adams fresh from his gold medal on board 1 for England at the European Team scored two draws on top board for Baden Baden who won on both days.

David Howell and Stephen Gordon both played for SG Trier and scored 0.5/2 and 1.5/2 on boards 2 and 5 respectively. The team won on Saturday but lost on Sunday.

Werder Bremen and Baden Baden both have eight match points out of a possible ten and lead the table along with SC Epping whilst SG Trier have three match points.
