Congratulations to Keith Arkell who won the Open with 4.5/5 defeating IMs Alexei Slavin and Jonathan Hawkins in rounds 4 and 5. Hawkins, who had beaten David Eggleston and GM Alexander Cherniaev in rounds three and four finished second equal on 4/5 with David Eggleston, James Hanley (defeated Alexander Cherniaev with black in round five) and Norwegian Brede Kvisvik.
