Luke McShane scored 4/9, performing at 2741, including wins against world number two Levon Aronian, world number three Vladimir Kramnik and Alexander Morozevich as well as draws with Hikaru Nakamura and Evgeny Tomashevsky. He could also have shared first place with a last round win but lost to world number one Magnus Carlsen.

1st Magnus Carlsen 5.5/9, 2nd= Fabiano Caruana & Teimour Radjabov 5, 4th= Levon Aronian, Alexander Grischuk, Vladimir Kramnik & Alexander Morozevich 4.5, 8th= Luke McShane & Hikaru Nakamura 4, 10th Evgeny Tomashevsky 3.5.
