Wells is leading the tournament with 7, and Chatalbashev is just behind on 6.5; those two are playing each other for the title tomorrow.

The players currently in third on 6/8 are Petrov and Jack himself. A large chasing pack of 8 players on 5.5/8, including Arkell. Justin Horton is on 5/8, Angus French on 4/8 and Jonathan Bryant on 3.5/8. Chatalbashev has White against Wells - should be interesting to see what happens.

Commiserations on the last round loss, Jack, though I see you did get a prize. And the top seed did triumph, beating Wells in the last round. The prize list made interesting reading.

Any news on who got the British Championship Qualifying place? Will that be for this year or next year?
