Congratulations to England who retained the Glorney and Under 12s and regained the Faber/Gilbert title but there was a surprise result in the Under 14s where Wales, coached by Sabrina Chevannes and Adam Hunt, took outright first place ahead of Scotland by virtue of winning the final game. The England teams were coached by David Levens and Nick Pert.

Michael Adams scored 6/10 for İstanbul İSEK Aquamatch Spor Kulübü who included former world FIDE champion Rustam Kazimdzhanov and Judit Polgar in their squad.
The team lost eight matches and won five.

Each team consisted of ten boards; the first six boards are mainly titled players, followed by a female junior (U-20), a junior player (U-20), U15 girl, U 15 junior.
