Re: Dortmund 26 July to 4 August 2013
Forget about his number - the way he is playing will surely get him some more invites!
Admittedly his opponents aren't putting up the stiffest of resistance, but he is taking advantage of their mistakes in clinical fashion!

Mickey drew today with black against Meier, so a draw tomorrow with white against Kramnik wins him the tournament
Kramnik still playing against Caruana
Kramnik still playing against Caruana

Kramnik won when Caruana missed a draw at the end - article has light anlysis, plus the cheating story quoted on another thread by Chris Rice

Caruana has lost nearly 20 rating points so far
Good luck to Mickey today

A hyper-accelerated dragon and Mickey plays 3c3, he has met d5 with the rather strange looking Bb5+ against me in the past.

First critical moment: Adams seemingly offering an early draw by repetition (Be6 Qb5+ Bd7 Qb3)

Mickey +20.9 to 2760.9 in third place on the Live Ratings, Kramnik up to 2794 back in third place
I see Mark Crowther on TWIC is wondering if Kramnik saving opening prep for the World Cup - can't see that being a massive priority, he only has to turn up at the WC to qualify for the Candidates
