Post by Tim Harding » Mon May 11, 2015 6:24 pm

The EnterCard Chess Qualifier in Oslo is a 6-player round-robin to decide who gets the wild card for Norway Chess at Stavanger in June.
Round 2 starts at 2000 local (7pm BST) with the games live on both chess24 (which hopefully will be working ok after server problems at the weekend) and on chessdom.

Tonight's line-up:

Curt Hansen v Grandelius
Hammer v Fressinet
Tari v Agdestein
Tim Harding
Historian and FIDE Arbiter

Today's final round robin rapid section with 20 minutes per side per game will settle which of Fressinet and Hammer gets the place for next month's Norway Masters

Carlsen's second Hammer won the wild card place.

Good for Norwegian chess that Hammer qualified rather than Fressinet

I would like to see an English player get the wild card for the London Chess Classic - an all English qualifier, or a match between Adams and Howell would be interesting
