When joining several years ago I thought it appropriate as footer in a chess forum. Nowadays, I'm very tempted to replace it with another favorite quote: "I get along very well with everyone, except animals and people."
You might want to source that quote. The only references I find via Google are to casachi.net!

Unfortunately the author is unknown. I found it, in a so slightly different form, in a fortune cookie (the Unix ones, not the Chinese restaurant ones). The lack of a pedigree does not make it less insightful.
