Congratulations to John Rice who has recently been awarded the GM title for problem composition at the age of 78.
I found this information and his picture in John Nunn's report on ChessBase:

John Rice "only" took 64 years of composing problems to earn the title.
He was co-author many years ago of "The two-move chess problem: tradition and development"
and "Chess Problems: Introduction to an Art"
Also probably of other books that I don't have.
