Karjakin misses his second good chance.

Has the Chess24 commentary started doing a bizarre loop for anybody else?

It's gotten flaky for me in the last 10 minutes. Maybe there's a lot of interest in the Karjakin-Caruana game and they're overloaded.JustinHorton wrote:Has the Chess24 commentary started doing a bizarre loop for anybody else?

Interesting Aronian-Nakamura press conference. Aronian "I'm heartbroken, I put so much work in but I guess I'll just have to deal with this personal tragedy". Nakamura "I don't care at all, after the start I had 50% was a good result".

Despite his best efforts at times, but yes
Wonder if by this stage he might not have minded much - 14 draws is at least a little bit amusing, whereas =13,+1 is a little bit nothing.

For the first time today he knew that a win was too late to have any bearing on first place so that may have sapped a little of his enthusiasm to beat the player probably most relieved to have got the tournament over with.MartinCarpenter wrote:Despite his best efforts at times, but yes

Indeed, it is something we might not see again in our lifetimes - and there were remarkably few "GM draws" amongst them.
